Training of Trainers – Tribal Health - September 2010

A Training Of Trainers (TOT) programme was organized during 26 – 28 September, 2010 in which staff of the four PAHAL partners project staff, six Sahiyas and members from two SHG group also partcicipated in the TOT.

Resource persons from Association for Social and Health Advancement (ASHA) – Technical Support, Kolkata was invited for training the participants on tribal health.

• The training included field visits as well as classroom sessions Definitions
• Preventive, primitive, curative & rehabilitative approach
• Factors for diseases – social, economic, geographical etc.
• The triad – agent / host / environment
• Communication exercise
